We had our appointment on Friday - Carol from Smooch arrived laden with over 300 rings for us to browse and sample. When we finally got on track (the joys of 3 kids!), we were like the proverbial kids in a sweet shop! There was so much to choose from - D shape, Concave, Flat, Medium Weight, Heavy Weight, Diamond, Engraved, Yellow Gold, White Gold, Palladium, Platinum, width, finish????
Overall... a great experience - relaxing and informative, didnt feel rushed or pressured and were really able to get a feel for what type we felt best with and compare all the different finishes as well as what width band looked best etc. The fantastic thing was that we could pretty much design our own by picking a ring but changing the metal or adding diamonds etc.
After creating a little bundle of our favourites and experimenting with shapes and sizes we decided on what felt best but chose the design that had originally caught our attention on their website.

I would like to say a massive THANK YOU to Phil, Alison & all the Smooch team. I have just last night placed my order for my 3rd ring (bought my engagement, wedding & eternity rings from smooch).
I first met Phil & Alison at a wedding fair at the Hilton Grovener in Glasgow over 18 months ago and got chatting. I am so glad we did as i nearly went with another company.
Phil has been fantastic as I am not easy to please and he would tell you that himself lol.
The process has been easy, relaxed and pain free. The customer service is out of this world.
The hardest bit was choosing because there is so much choice. Especially when it comes to Diamonds, its like being a kid in a candy shop for a woman.
My engagement ring is of fantastic quality, as is my wedding ring and my hubby's ring. My eternity ring will be stunning; its got sapphire, rubies & diamonds in and the sapphire & rubies didn't cost extra.
My advice to anyone who is reading this is: If you are thinking about making an appointment then do it; make the appointment; Especially if you're in the Glasgow area as you won't be disappointed with Alison, Phil & the team. Customer service with Smooch is out of this world. I can't give enough praise to the team as all have been fantastic.

Dear Smooch, Just wanted to day that I received my engagement ring back today, having been re-plated and polished and I am very happy with it. Rob Scott our advisor came out to our house at a time that was convinient for us. It was great - he was so helpfull, polite and professional. The selection of rings he brought to show us was amazing. He helped us create the rings that were everyting and more that we wanted. We were also impressed with the life time guarantee and the overall cost was reasonable too.
The rings have now come and they have totally exceeded our expectations - they are absolutely beautiful and the engraving looks so special. We get married on 25th June 2011 and we can't wait to be able to show off our stunning rings. We would definitely recommend Smooch to our friends and family.

Hello. We had our 2nd appointment with Ross yesterday. He is an amazing man who gave us his full attention and opinions and has been very patient with us whilst we chose our rings. After the 1st appointment we went and checked prices at other stores and I can honestly say that with the after care u provide could not be beaten. Ross had no hesitation coming out for a 2nd time. I picked exactly the same ring as 1st time where my partner chose differently. We are very excited about receiving the rings and I know everyone will comment on them. Baz the Smooch Advisor came to our house last night, and although we were a bit apprehensive about being badgered into something we were not happy with, we were so wrong.

He was very helpful but didn't pressure us into anything, in fact quite the opposite. He give us all information up front, he helped us in our sizing (my fiance hand is an odd size), he advised us about differant metals. So glad I went to the Weston Hall, Stafford, wedding fair a few months back and spoke to Ross, he was great - came all the way down from playing football at 9 on a Thursday night to show us the rings. When we had chosen the ones we liked he told us everything we needed to know and helped figure out the perfect rings for us both. I was well happy with the advisor (Mandy), she was realy easy to talk to, and in all fairness she made sure I was making the right choice and not being a fool by spending over my means on the wonderful ring I odered. She explained about every ring I chose to look at, she even persuaded me to look at some lovely rings at less than half the price, just to make sure the ring I chose was the ring I definately wanted (which it was, no question). This ring was the first one I took out of the case, and no matter what Mandy said my head and heart kept telling me to go with the lovely ring I ordered.
Although my ring is more double the price than we had budgeted for both, we both think it will be money well spent, and after all you should only be getting hitched once, so I think this ring will be with me for a life time.

We were lucky enough to win our wedding rings through Smooch and UKBride and I have to say that although winners, we were treated as if we were any normal customer. Malcolm, our advisor, was lovely and full of useful advice in regards to our rings and treatment of them.

She came round with all of the rings to select from & was a pleasure to deal with! She was extremely enthusiastic about the rings & put no pressure on us at all. I would just like to say that over a year on from our wedding day our ring's are still as beautiful as ever, of course they have the normal every day wear and tear, which is to be expected but they are still gorgeous. My husband has a titanium, half brushed and half polished ring, which is perfect for him as he is in the army and he is currently in Afghanistan so needed something sturdy as well as nice looking, and the ring is withstanding that just fine. I had a simple white gold ring with a single diamond, which is perfect as my engagement ring is quite ornate so the wedding ring teams perfectly with it. Our advisor was very pleasant, made us feel very at ease and made the whole process simple and very smooth. We we're very pleased with the service and have recommended Smooch to some of our friends. The choice of ring's is wonderful and the company as a whole we have had no problems. So thank you Smooch, we will be using you again!

We received our SMOOCH wedding rings over the weekend and I just want to say how thrilled we are with them and the service we received. The Advisor who can to our house (Les) was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful, guiding us to our perfect rings. My partner selected a paladium and yellow gold band whilst I chose a paladium band set with diamonds that was shaped around my unusually shaped engagement ring. Communication between Smooch and myself was good - using email and texts to arrange an appointment and to answer any queries I had. However because it was not my first choice, I decided to go with my instinct and change my order to my first choice without actually seeing a sample. A huge gamble I know! Hi, I wanted to give some feedback on our rings we ordered for our wedding back in June, apologies for the delay. After meeting our Smooch Advisor at a wedding fayre she came to our house where she spent hours with us going through each individual ring. To us, our rings were the most important part of our wedding day, they are the only thing you wear for the rest of your life. We decided to have our rings handmade and bespoke to us and nothing was too much hassle. Sara was extremely knowledgeable with matching it to my engagement ring. To add to this, she was extremely understanding of the financial situation most couples face when getting married so even suggested adding extra diamonds later on if we could only afford a small amount. We also had them engraved and a small diamond inside each to personalise and have something only we knew were there. The quality of the rings is incredible and we have never had so many compliments. With mine being White Gold I knew I would need to have it replated but my engagement ring (not by Smooch) has been done twice and my wedding ring still sparkles like new. I have recommended Smooch to all my friends and can't stress enough how important your rings make you feel once your wedding day is over. Thanks again!
